  • 2 (21-ounce) cans apple pie filling
  • 1 (16.5-ounce) box spice cake mix
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Cover bottom of pan evenly with pie filling.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine spice cake mix, cinnamon chips, pecans, and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle dry mixture on top of pie filling layer. Drizzle melted butter on top.

  3. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.

  4. Serve warm or cold, topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
