There are few pie recipes that are as wonderful as Caramel Apple Skillet Pie. Tender apples swim in a cinnamon-spiced caramel filling and are encased in a delicious, spiked homemade pie dough. Irish whiskey adds just the right amount of flavor to the pie dough, making it blend well with the filling. Don't worry about using whiskey in this recipe because the alcohol will bake right out. This would be perfect for fall holidays or just a crisp fall evening.
