Note From the Editor:

This fudge recipe is much easier than the labor-intensive one I remember making when I was in high school. For a couple years, I returned to my grade school to help the matriarchs (as I endearingly referred to them) of my parish school make candy for the fall fundraiser. It would take a whole crew of us working all day long for several days to meet the expected demand of fudge and potato candy.

Like many other confections and candies, fudge can be a little fickle. It needs to be heated to exactly the right temperature using a candy thermometer. Even if you get it to the right stage on the thermometer, the weather that day can have adverse effects on the fudge. I vividly remember a slightly humid day that ruined a whole batch of fudge. But don't fret if the weather isn't cooperating. Fudge is such a fun candy to make, and this 3-Ingredient Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge means you can whip it up even quicker than you thought!
