No-Bake Chocolate Peppermint Balls

"Not sure what you should do with leftover candy canes? You make choc peppermint balls! This indulgent Christmas treat takes the basics of rum balls and steps things up to a whole new level of chocolate deliciousness! These easy to make chocolate truffles taste great on their own, but once rolled in extra chocolate with crushed candy cane sprinkled on top you end up with the perfect Christmas dessert or treat that everyone will love!"

Ingredients

  • 1 package sweet biscuits
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa
  • 3 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1 package milk chocolate melts
  • Candy canes

Instructions

  1. Crush biscuits in a food processor.

  2. Mix in cocoa, condensed milk and coconut.

  3. Roll into balls around 3 to 4cm in diameter.

  4. Melt chocolate in the microwave or stovetop.

  5. Roll balls in melted chocolate until covered. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.

  6. Crush candy canes into small pieces and sprinkle on top of chocolate balls before the chocolate hardens.

  7. Place in refrigerator until set.
