  • 2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract
  • Zest of Lemon
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 cup Cake Flour
  • 3 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 32 ounce Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • Slices of Lemon
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 8 inch round cake pans and set aside.
