Lemon Cookie Dough Dip Recipe

"Lemon cookie dough dip is light, fluffy, and a sweet treat for any occasion. There's something about the tangy sweetness of lemon desserts that make them perfect for spring and summer. Pin this recipe for upcoming graduation parties, BBQ's, pool parties, Father's day, or whenever you are craving a scrumptious treat. Cookie dough dips are always welcome at parties. The next time you need to bring a dish to a party, consider a cookie dough dip. There is usually no shortage of savory dips, so a dessert dip is a sweet alternative."

Use a pastry shaper to crush Lemon Oreos. Or, put cookies in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

Serve with tasting spoons or animal crackers.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 lemon sandwich cookies, crushed
  1. Beat butter and sugar in a mixing bowl for 3 minutes, scraping down sides as necessary.

  2. Add lemon juice and milk and beat well.

  3. Add lemon zest and beat well.

  4. Add flour and salt in a small bowl and mix well.

  5. Add flour to the dough and beat until mixed well.

  6. Fold in the crushed cookies.

Easy peasy to make (it took mere minutes) and tasty enough to keep coming back for more makes this a perfect dessert for everything from a normal family meal to a barbecue or party! The lemon tang means it is not too sweet and it is something that everyone will love - from the youngest to the oldest.

Oh man, I don't think I would be able to resist this dessert!
