Bite-Sized Apple Turnovers

Don't have the time, energy, or ingredients to whip up a regular apple turnover recipe? You should try these Bite-Sized Apple Turnovers instead. Made with flaky phyllo dough, these mini turnovers taste just like the real thing but take only a fraction of the time and effort. Plus, you can eat more than one in a sitting without feeling any sort of guilt over doing so. Just prepare the dough and the apple filling, and then fold the dough into triangles just like you'd do with a flag. Bake until golden, and enjoy.

Do you like to use sweetened or unsweetened applesauce for your turnovers? I can't wait to make some of these and have a nice, hot bowl of caramel that I can dip them in, or maybe I will drizzle a little sauce over the turnovers while they are hot and steamy.

Using phyllo dough is such an ingenious way to make these. Whether you make them for a breakfast treat or a dessert, they are sure to be a big hit! They turn out nice and crispy, and the crust is wonderfully flaky! I can't wait to try other versions of these, maybe with blueberries, peaches, or evena pumpkin filling!
