Can you just use fresh strawberries for this recipe if you wanted, or do you need the juice? My grandma used to put sugar on the strawberries when we cleaned them and then she would use them in pies or just with some whipped cream as a dessert. I used to love visiting in spring because I knew she would have fresh strawberries and some amazing desserts.
