Easy Creamy Tiramisu Dessert

By: John Goins from
Easy Creamy Tiramisu Dessert
Easy Creamy Tiramisu Dessert

"Tiramisu dessert feels like a complicated and fancy dessert. But, making Tiramisu doesn’t have to be hard. This recipe takes less than an hour, but will please your family guests to no end. If you love spices such as cinnamon powder, powdered cloves, or a hint of nutmeg, this is the dessert for you. The classic recipe calls for rum, but this recipe omitted that ingredient so that children can enjoy this coffee-based dessert too. You can pair this delicious tiramisu dessert with some sweet wines."

Preparation Time45 min

Cooking MethodNo Bake

  • 1 cup espresso
  • 6 tablespoons Orange Liqueur
  • 16 ounces mascarpone
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • cocoa powder

  1. Mix the orange liqueur and warm espresso.

  2. Dip the ladyfingers halfway through the mixture.

  3. Arrange the first layer of ladyfingers in a baking pan.

  4. Whisk the mascarpone cream on medium speed until smooth and set aside.

  5. In a double boiler, whisk the egg yolks and 1/4 cup of sugar together until foamy for about 5 minutes.

  6. Pour eggs into the mascarpone mixture and beat on medium speed until combined.

  7. Beat the heavy cream and vanilla extract to medium peaks.

  8. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
