If you're a fan of icebox cake recipes, you will fall head-over-heels in love with Boozy Oreo Icebox Cake. Almond liqueur take this no-bake dessert from tasty to irresistible. Sweet whipped cream and chocolatey Oreos layer perfectly in a large trifle dish. When chilling, the Oreos slowly soften and really meld with the rest of the flavors in the cake. The liqueur adds a bit of zing and welcome warmth to an otherwise cool cake. This recipe is perfect for warm summer nights with friends.

My family has been making almost exactly the same dessert for ages. If you don't want to use alcohol, you can always substitute it with a little more vanilla. There is plenty of moisture in the heavy cream to moisten the cookies enough. It's such a simple to make dessert but it's so delicious!
