Cake balls are a popular dessert because they are easy to make and are perfectly portioned into bite-sized pieces. These Red Velvet Cake Balls use boxed cake mix, canned frosting, and chocolate for a super simple dessert recipe. All you need to do is crumble the cooled cake, mix with frosting, roll into balls, and dip in melted chocolate. When the chocolate has set, you can plate these beautiful cake balls for serving. Everyone will love this dense, chocolaty treat because it is easy to enjoy and is less messy than cake or cupcakes. You can top these cake balls with festive sprinkles to serve them for Valentine's Day or Christmas, too!

I have a Nephew that loves Red Velvet Cake, and these Red Velvet Cake Balls were a real hit with him. This recipe is really easy to make, and the technique used to make the balls by crumbling the cake and mixing it with cream cheese frosting is truly genius. You really need to make this recipe, it is a lot of fun to make, and to eat. Your family is sure to love them.
