"These Apple Pie Shortbread bars have a shortbread crust, a cinnamon and spiced apple filling and a crumb topping. It's like apple pie, but in bar form. The perfect dessert to make for a crowd for any holiday or gathering. Use your favorite apples in this dessert dish, however I love the classic flavor of Granny Smith apples in apple pie. The crumb topping sets this bar dessert over the top and is an easy alternative to making an apple pie."
