Who doesn't love Tootsie Rolls? Thanks to homemade candy recipes like this one, you can now make your favorite treats at home! Chewy Homemade Tootsie Rolls is one of the best copycat recipes for this fan-favorite candy. These chocolates are perfectly chewy and a bit softer than the Tootsie Rolls you'd buy at the store. They also have a slightly stronger chocolate flavor. You'll love these candies so much that you won't be able to stop eating them.

I used to get a ton of these in my pillowcase at Halloween. I remember them being my favorite treat for a long time because I love chocolate. How close are these to the real thing? I love that you chose unsweetened chocolate because too sweet would ruin this treat.
