By: Trish from Mom on Timeout

Nanas Best Coconut Macaroons

For a soft and mouthwatering cookie recipe that makes you nostalgic for your childhood, look no further than Nana's Best Coconut Macaroons. This old-fashioned dessert recipe has charmed dessert enthusiasts for decades and continues to do so because it's just so good! Coconut flakes give these cookies a subtle sweetness and a ton of flavor depth. While the word "macaroon" may sound fancy, these treats are super easy to whip up and will take you no time or effort at all. Try them once and you'll want to make them all the time.

I like how easy this recipe is because I am always on the run. I could see making a few dozen of these with my daughter and having them for a sweet treat for movie night. Are they more crunchy or chewy? I would think chewy since they are called macaroons.

Here's the recipe for the macaroons http//www.momontimeout.com/2014/08/best-coconut-ma == caroons/. I would like to try this for a difference. In my country, a lot of people make macaroons and I would like to try this one for a change.Studies show that coconut is good at lowering cholesterol and sugar levels so this should really be good for your health.
