This easy peach cobbler recipe is the perfect choice for a weeknight dessert. This recipe is super easy and only requires a handful of simple ingredients. The homemade oatmeal topping is sweet and satisfying. It is the perfect topping to the juicy peach filling. This oven-baked cobbler comes out perfect every time, and you won't even have to put much effort into baking.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peach in light syrup, drained
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
  • 1/4 cup frozen butter

I love that you chose to put apples and oatmeal together in this recipe. I don't care what you call it because it sounds delicious. I am sure that we will find this a nice recipe to have a on brisk day. We can take a walk after dinner and have a little of this dessert with some ice cream. It sounds like a lovely evening to me.

This looks really good. I would call this a crisp instead of a cobbler, though. The oatmeal topping is different than the traditional shortcake topping.
