Cuisinart Mix It In Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker

Cuisinart Mix It In Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker

Reviewed by , Editor,

Making homemade ice cream has never been as fun and easy as it is with the Cuisinart Mix It In Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker. The special appliance is equipped to make, serve, and dress-up your frozen treats. It comes complete with three topping slots, and a spot to put cones.

The setup of this ice cream maker is like no other I have seen before. The top of the maker holds a standard freezer bowl and mixer for turning your base into delicious ice cream. It operates much like a regular ice cream maker, but instead of having to freeze after making, you can serve it right from the maker as soft-serve. If you prefer a scoop-able bite, just transfer the ice cream into a container and keep in the freezer. It will be ready to scoop in a few hours.

I love how the design incorporates toppings. There are three spots to put your favorite sprinkles, chocolate chips, candies, and more for topping your treat. Simply pull the tab below the condiment container you want to add, and the topping will flow right into the ice cream that you are dispensing.

Kids will go crazy for this ice cream whether at a birthday party or sitting outside on a hot day. It is fun for them to be able to serve themselves and add the toppings they desire. With a spot to keep the safety cones, this Cuisinart design covers it all. After adding the ice cream base to the machine, it will be ready to dispense with the lever in just 15-20 minutes!
