Cooking Time5 min
Cooking Vessel SizeGriddle or large pan
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
- 8 slices Bread
- 3 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Milk
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
First, make the batter by adding the eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a bowl.
Whisk together the batter until combined and set it aside.
Next, cut the crust of each of the pieces of bread.
Take a rolling pin and roll over the pieces of bread to flatten them.
Take the mascarpone cheese and spread a thin layer on each slice of bread.
Layer on some sliced strawberries and roll up the bread to make a spiral. Pinch the ends to keep the filling inside of the french toast.
Set the rolled pieces of bread aside and grab your batter as well as the cinnamon and sugar. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
Dip each french toast roll in the batter and place them on a hot, buttered griddle.
Cook the french toast until it’s golden brown all the way around.
Top each stuffed french toast with the cinnamon sugar to finish them off and enjoy!
