If you're on the hunt for classic desserts, look no further than these delicious Katharine Hepburn's Favorite Brownies. This easy brownie recipe will have your mouth watering from the moment your pan starts baking. Unsweetened chocolate gives the treats their rich and decadent chocolate flavor, something that a lot of other brownie recipes lack. Pieces of chopped walnut are scattered throughout the batter, ensuring that you get at least one salty and crunchy piece with each bite. With just a taste, you'll see why Katherine Hepburn loved these brownies so much.

Have you ever added maraschino cherries to this recipe? I seen that ingredient in a similar brownie, and I thought that might make a good variation of this recipe if you wanted something different. I like that this recipe has unsweetened chocolate in it instead of sweetened. I think it gives it a rich flavor.
