The fudge topping on these brownies look really amazing. I think these would be lovely with a cup of tea or as a desert with some vanilla ice cream. I can see these becoming a firm favorite in our household and I can see my partner pestering me to make more of these.

I know walnuts are a classic brownie ingredient, but I have a tree nut allergy in my home. We can use peanuts, sunflowers, and pumpkin seeds in our desserts. What would you recommend I use in this dish? We can always do a honey roasted peanut or plain roasted. I think it would add a nice earthy flavor like the walnuts but not the same taste.
