"This is my favorite cookie recipe ever. It has only a few ingredients, and one of them is what makes these cookies taste so good-- even without frosting! I've made them many years at Christmas time, and this is my first time making them at Valentine's Day. Plan ahead, because the dough needs to refrigerate before you make it. You can use store bought frosting, but I prefer to make my own with the same secret ingredient that is in the dough."
