Can I use wheat flour in place of the all-purpose flour, or do I have to use the exact ingredients to get this recipe right? We love Boston Cream Pie in our home. My daughter eats it every chance she gets. She even has me buy the Toaster Strudels in that flavor because she loves the taste so much.

I have never heard of Boston Cream PIe before but, having now had it, I am not likely to forget it in a hurry. Delicious! First I had to Gooogle half and half because that is not a thing here in South Africa. That done I am happy to report it all turned out beautifully and we absolutely LOVED it. Definitely to be repeated!
