I remember my grandma making her pie crusts this way when I was a little girl. Now we know you got your idea from grandma. My mom is always talking about her pie crusts not turning out right. I should tell her about this recipe or just go over with some pre-made dough and try to get her to guess what is in it.

Seems like Grandma has been keeping a magically perfect secret pie crust recipe up her sleeve! And it is perfectly suitable for any kind of pie you could possibly wixh to make. Savory or sweet, it works equally well for both. We had one for chicken and mushroom pie earlier in the week and tonight we baked the other for a dessert involving quite a lot of chocolate and other goodies that the children devised. It is a great recipe that is definitely worth keeping!

I am absolutely terrible at making pie crust! I usually have to give in and either go with a crumb type crust, or buy the just add water mixes if I want to make a pie. I am going to try this recipe and see if I have better luck with it. I know my boys would be happy if it works for me.
