One of our favorite kinds of desserts is one that is both sweet and salty. Take these Caramel Apple Soft Pretzels for example! You're taking a traditionally salty homemade pretzel and revamping it to this sweet and delectable treat in no time at all. This homemade pretzel recipe is incredibly easy and delicious. You're mixing fresh and crisp apples into the dough batter then baking these treats up! The aroma alone must be irresistible. After they are done baking for less than 30 minutes, you'll be able to drizzle some ooey-gooey salted caramel syrup on top! If you're feeling extra ambitious, try adding a little bit of a chocolate drizzle!

Can you use a combination of whole wheat and white flour to make the pretzel mix? I want to use the whole wheat, but not to replace the regular flour, just to enhance the pretzel and make it a little meatier. I think I am going to use Granny Smith green apples to give this dish a tart layer or flavor.

These look amazing! Soft pretzels are my favorite, and this fall take on them looks spectacular. Yum!
