You don't need to be a baking expert to whip up a batch of Festive Roly-Poly Santa Cookies. This is one of the best Christmas dessert recipes because each cookie is shaped into and decorated like everyone's favorite North Pole dweller! Each Santa Claus is made with a simple shortbread recipe that's then split into colored and non-colored portions. All you have to do is put them together and pop them in the oven. Once you're done, give him a beard, some, buttons, eyes, and a nose and you're good to go!

These Santa cookies are so cute! They would make a great option for a cookie exchange or holiday party. I think I'd even make them for stocking stuffers.
