Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.

  2. Combine and whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. In a small bowl, mix egg yolks, milk, and butter. Set aside.

  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with a mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.

  5. Add egg yolk mixture to flour mixture and stir to combine.

  6. Fold in egg whites.

  7. Drop by large spoonful onto the greased waffle iron.

  8. Close the lid and cook about 3-5 minutes.
