Cranberry oatmeal has always been a pleasant flavor combination. However, you've never tried anything like Awesome Cookie Company's Famous Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies. These cookies are the company's "flagship" cookie flavor that started it all and, after just one bite, you'll definitely know why. They're nothing short of awesome, from their sweet and buttery taste, to their soft and chewy texture, and even to their classy, yet fun, packaging. These cookies are so good that it's practically impossible to eat just one.
Like their Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Chip Cookies counterpart, these cookies arrive in cute Mason jars. On the Awesome Cookie Company site, the cookies are available for order in two sizes, large (10.8 oz Mason jar) and small (5.4 oz Mason jar). My advice would definitely be to order the larger size because these cookies will go faster than you had ever anticipated. The Mason jar packaging is great not only because it makes the cookies look even more attractive than they already do, but it also does a great job of keeping your cookies fresh.
As I mentioned above, these Famous Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies are the Awesome Cookie Company's original cookie variety. These are the cookies that started it all. As soon as you open the Mason jar, you'll be bombarded with the sweet and slightly buttery aroma of the cookies. While the cookies may look a little thin, they definitely pack a serious flavor punch. The buttery flavor of the oatmeal cookie dough really complements the sweet cranberries and keeps them from tasting overly sweet. That hint of butter also gives each bite a lot of welcome flavor depth that you don't get from a lot of cookie flavors. The cookie's dough itself is soft and slightly crunchy, thanks to the baked oatmeal.
Take a look at what some of our other editors had to say about these sweet treats:
"I’ve never had an oatmeal cranberry cookie before; however, one bite, and I’m a believer. I love that there’s a burst of fruity flavor coming through each savory chunk. The mason jars add a fun, kitschy touch that make these the perfect gifts for the holidays."
"Each bite has a pop of buttery oatmeal flavor. I could eat these cookies any time! Delish!"
"The cranberry oatmeal cookies are buttery, chewy and crispy with a hint of sweetness from the cranberry. They’re a delicious spin on the ordinary oatmeal cookie recipe."
Awesome Cookie Company's Famous Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies are delicious from the first bite to the very last. Their cranberry flavor and cute Mason jar packaging make them the perfect gift for the holidays, although they'll taste wonderful at all times of the year. After trying them just once, they're sure to become one of your favorite cookie flavors of all time.
