Shotwell Candy Caramels are in a class of their own. These divine caramels come in all kinds of delicious varieties. They make for the perfect sweet bite. We had the opportunity to sample many of the tasty concoctions from Shotwell. From their original salted caramel to their old-fashioned cocktail caramels, everything was insanely delicious.

Their standard caramels are anything, but standard. The texture is not too chewy, nor too tough, but just right. The salt is clearly of great quality and you get just the right amount in each bite.

One of my favorites of the specialty caramels was one I thought I could never like: the lemon rosemary caramel. I am not a huge fan of citrus, but this caramel as a perfect balance of citrus and herb flavor. It was truly a remarkable bite.

In addition to just caramel, I tried the Trail Mix Toffee and was just as impressed. It had all the makings of a great trail mix paired with amazing toffee.

The packaging of these confections makes them great to give as gifts. An old-fashioned logo adds to the overall aesthetic. A box full of these caramels will bring delight to anyone in your life.

I tried the classic salted caramel flavor and thought it was delicious! It had a really great, rich flavor. If they were just slightly less sticky they'd be pretty much perfect.

I love all of the unique flavors that these caramels come in! I stuck to the Old-Fashioned Cocktail Caramels and they were great! They are the perfect sticky and soft texture. I can even taste the rich flavors of bourbon!

These were delicious. They were gooey but not too sticky. The salted caramel and espresso ones were my favorites! The simple, rustic wrapping was also a nice touch.

The texture of these caramels is exactly what caramel should be - soft and only slightly sticky, not hard and overly chewy. And the flavors are so unique! Talk about a gourmet treat

You wouldn't think that lemon rosemary would work in a caramel...but it TOTALLY does! It was such a delicious flavor combination and the texture of the caramel was perfect. These are the real deal!

I was skeptical at first about the lemon basil caramel but they're actually really delicious! And the salted caramel is perfect if you just want the classic taste without any extras.

The salted caramel candy was delicious! It was the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

Something about these caramels tastes so GENUINE. They even look like they've been hand-wrapped in really cute, rustic brown paper! I'm definitely going to need to get these again.

Take all of my money. The bourbon maple pecan flavor, oh my goodness, perfection. It had little pecans in it and the texture was perfect. All of these flavors should always be put together.
