Chocolate-Covered Cream Puffs

Why continue buying containers of small, frozen cream puffs when you can make homemade Chocolate-Covered Cream Puffs instead? This cream puff recipe uses a vanilla pastry cream that you can make at home. It tastes a lot better than just filling the pastries with plain whipped cream. The chocolate topping really compliments the vanilla pastry cream and adds a bit more flavor depth. You will love these cream puffs so much that you will have a hard time eating just one at a time.

Do you have to use whole milk in this recipe? Can you use soy or another like two percent milk? I think your dish sounds amazing. I know several people that would love to come over and find these on the menu. I can see several people asking for the recipe even because I know they are so tasty.
