I have to agree with Nataliegrace because I have never heard of making a custard pie with a fruit before now. I like the idea a lot. I think it will be amazing. I can't wait for the weather to get cool again to pull out recipes like these that I want to try. Thanks!

This sounds so interesting! My mom made a really good cranberry pie last year, but she's been looking for a simpler recipe. This one sounds perfect!
