There are few treats as delicious or enjoyable as chocolate-covered cherries, especially cherry cordials. If you've ever had the pleasure of biting into a Queen Anne Milk Chocolate Cherry Cordial, you know just how wonderful they are. Smooth milk chocolate surrounds a perfectly juicy maraschino cherry as well as a sweet and gooey cordial center that's practically irresistible. Plus, they're the perfect size for people who just want something small to satisfy their sweet tooth. It's honestly impossible not to love these treats.
The cordial filling is, quite possibly, my favorite aspect of these candies. It has a gooey, sticky texture to it that really absorbs the juice of the cherry that's encased with it. The dense gooey nature of the cordial really complements the smooth chocolate casing and makes for an enjoyable eating experience.
I've had a lifelong love of Queen Anne's Cherry Cordials and that won't be changing anytime soon. For most of my life, Queen Anne Cherry Cordials have reminded me of the holidays (mainly Christmas). My family loves to wrap them up and give them as gifts almost as much as we love receiving them as gifts. They're classy yet delicious. However, I recently realized that Queen Anne Milk Chocolate Cherry Cordials aren't just for holidays and special occasions. They're perfect for everyday enjoyment as well! You can bring them to small get-togethers or enjoy them while relaxing on the couch and watching your favorite movie or TV show (like I've now started to do).
Though their packaging looks elegant and high-end, Queen Anne's cordials are affordable to purchase on a regular basis. Plus, I love that each chocolate candy has its own slot in the box so that they're always in perfect condition when you go to pop one in your mouth. I also like that I can pace myself by only pulling the plastic covering off of the specific cherries I decide to eat, dissuading me from gorging myself on an entire tray at once.
While I love the classic milk chocolate variety and buy myself a box from the store whenever I can, their dark chocolate-covered cherries are just as delicious. The dark chocolate is the perfect match for the sweet cordial filling. I also recently had the opportunity to try Queen Anne's newest cherry cola-flavored cordials (which they should be rolling out soon I'd imagine) and I fell in love with these sweets all over again.
Don't wait to start enjoying Queen Anne Milk Chocolate Cherry Cordials until the holidays roll around. These treats are so good that you should be enjoying them all year round.
