These lovely peppermint cookies are ideal for any holiday party or potluck. The red and white peppermint Kisses on top and the powdered sugar on the cookies make them as wonderful to look at as they are to eat. These cookies are rich, fudgy chocolate crinkle cookies topped with peppermint candy on top. The peppermint gives them a light mint flavor that will balance the rich chocolate. We'll tell you something else about this recipe that may surprise you: it's low-fat! Now your Christmas season can be guilt free.

These peppermint chocolate crinkle cookies look like a very festive treat for in around the Christmas period. They are perfect if you are trying to lose a few pounds but still crave a festive treat. They would be a cute treat to have in the center of the table around the Christmas period.

How did you make my favorite Christmas cookie better? My mom always makes a few batches of these cookies up for the holidays. She always makes sure my sister gets a batch of these because they are her favorite, but she doesn't know that they are one of my favorites too. I am so happy you added the peppermint to the recipe. I want to surprise her and take her some this year.
