"Who doesn’t love a little (or a lot) of chocolate? These sweet treats are so versatile – there is no limit to the different toppings you can put on them! Make them as a gift for that special someone. Or make them as the finishing touch to your dinner party. Either way, their simple elegance and rich flavors are sure to impress! You don’t need to be a professional baker to enjoy these gourmet truffles at home either. With only a few simple ingredients and these easy-to-follow steps, you can have this chocolate goodness prepared and ready to enjoy in no time!"

Cooking Time3 hr 20 min

  1. Chop chocolate and place in a medium bowl.

  2. In a small saucepan, heat cream just before it boils, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Carefully pour heated cream over the chocolate and stir until smooth.

  4. Add butter and vanilla extract and stir until chocolate is completely smooth.

  5. Place plastic wrap on top of chocolate mixture and place in the refrigerator to chill.

  6. Chill for several hours or overnight.

  7. Using a cookie dough scoop, divide the chocolate mixture and roll into balls.

  8. Immediately roll in preferred coating.

  9. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve. Allow truffles to come to room temperature before enjoying.
