Mini Berry Pies
Take advantage of all of the fresh berries that are available to you during the summer by baking up a few Mini Berry Pies. This berry pie recipe uses fresh strawberries and blueberries to make its juicy and sweet filling. Instead of having crust completely cover every inch of the pie, this recipe just has you cut shapes out of the pie dough and place them on top. The dough shapes make the pie taste lighter than normal and let the berry flavors take center stage.

Do you cut the strawberries in half or quarter them for this recipe? I know that I love berries, so this will be a nice pie to have with the family after a hearty meal one night. I think it will go well with meatloaf, some garden fresh green beans, and a nice baked potato.
