Firecracker Brownie Pie
Firecracker Brownie Pie

"Made in a pie plate, Firecracker Brownie Pie is a layered brownie dish with hot fudge topping, vanilla ice cream and sprinkles with a surprise ingredient. A showstopper, it is fun to make and a great idea for a Memorial Day or 4th of July celebration."

NotesFirecracker Brownie Pie is hard to cut because it is frozen! Use a sharp knife, carefully cutting through each layer over-and-over again until knife is through to the bottom of the pie plate. Once you have cut both sides of the slice of pie, plus the outside edge of the slice, the pie will lift out easily with a pie server. Refreeze any leftovers.

This recipe is so fun. I can't wait to try it out. Do you think I can sue peanuts instead of the walnuts? I have a bad tree nut allergy in my house. We cannot even bring the nuts home without a problem. I know that the recipe with peanuts would be almost as good.
